Recently, the winners of Travelers’ Choice awards for destination have been announced by the famous travel website of TripAdvisor. The Top to-go-list 2016 includes travelers’ favorite places all over the world. Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam – took its pride to be listed.

The list of Top 10 destinations in 2016 was based on the quantity of positive traveler feedbacks and booking interest from the TripAdvisor community from November 2014 – November 2015. It is a recommendation for travelers to plan trips to discover these award-winning destinations.
TripAdvisor also praised that Hanoi, the charming capital of Vietnam, has aged well and still preserved the Hanoi’s Old Quarter (Hanoi’s 36 Streets), historical monuments and colonial architecture despite of many modern developments alongside. In addition, Hanoi is home to a variety of lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagoda, which appeal to hundreds thousands of visitors.
