Nearly 1,000 doves were released last week for the launch of the “Bird garden for peace” in East Sea Park on Pham Van Dong Street, Danang City.
The project by the management board of Son Tra Peninsula and tourism beaches in Danang will be used by local residents, and foreign and local tourists.
The event last week was also to raise public awareness about protecting doves and condemned the action of killing birds in Danang.
The management board has also organized sightseeing tours to Son Tra Peninsula such as a cruise around Son Tra Peninsula, fishing with fishermen and other interesting activities for both visitors and local residents.
