Furama to manage one more resort in Vietnam

Besides  Furama resort danang, The Furama Hotels and Resorts International has announced its agreement with Saigon Ho Coc Company to manage a resort in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

The Furama Resort Ho Coc in Bung Rieng Commune, Xuyen Moc District, around 130 kilometres from HCMC is under construction and scheduled for operation next year.

With 567 units, 4 villas, 9 bungalows the resort will be run as a “condotel”, so Furama will sublet these properties when the owners are away.

The resort is part of the 30-hectare Saigon-Binh Chau-Ho Coc resort project of the Saigon-Binh Chau-Ho Coc Tourism Joint Stock Company that once planned to join hands with a partner to invest VND600 billion to build the five-star Sea Star Suite Saigon Hococ on 2.4 hectares.

The developers expected to build 573 hotel rooms and apartments of 40 to 80 square meters to serve over 1,000 international tourists or MICE (meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition) tourists.

Dao Huu Loan, general director of the Saigon-Binh Chau-Ho Coc Tourism Joint Stock Company, told the Daily on Wednesday the company had transferred the 2.4-hectare site to the Saigon Ho Coc Company for the new project.

“The land is our investment contribution to a company that will develop the resort,” he said.

According to him, the company is building new accommodations and tourism services in the remaining area of the Saigon-Binh Chau-Ho Coc resort. More than VND400 billion will be spent on new works such as 80 five-star hotel rooms, international standard meeting rooms, swimming pool and other facilities.
